Surgery #4

This morning Mom underwent surgery to insert a permanent shunt. They haven't yet done the tracheostomy. The anesthesiologist reported that this morning's surgery went well, and a few hours after the surgery, Mom was awake and making eye contact with each of us again. We had been concerned that this surgery might leave Mom back in a coma for a few days, so we're very grateful that it didn't prove to be much of a setback.

Sarah,
Praise the Lord! I am so glad to hear Sandy had a better turn around after this surgery. We are praying that the staff attending to her will see God's mighty hand at work and that He will be glorified.

"He will take great delight in you; He will quiet you with His love, He will rejoice over you with singing" Zephaniah 3:17

Praying with you all,
Yvette

Glad to hear that she is showing good signs of improvement. My name is Dan, I help out with the youth group @ NCCF, and am good friends with Chris. I just wanted to forward his loving comments towards his parents that he spoke on Tuesday night last week. I was teaching on covetousness, and we all were talking about different things that we can covet. One example I came up with was coveting other people's parents. Some of the kids really appreciated that I had said this because they were having issues with this. But, Chris two or three times insistantly stated that he has no issues in this area, and that he could not have asked for better parents. In my mind thats exactly how God intended our relationships to be with our family. I was so glad that we had the sanctified perspective, for some of us to aim for. You are in our prayers, Dan

Sandy connecting with you on the same day as the surgery! That is the greatest news! We will continue to pray for the healing of her throat area and continuous growth in her strength. During this holiday of thanksgiving, we thank Him especially for Sandy's guidance and example during our homeschooling years. Couldn't do it without her. Hear our prayers, Sandy, and keep getting well. Maris

O the deep, deep love of Jesus,
Vast, unmeasured, boundless, free!
Rolling as a mighty ocean in its fullness over me! Underneath me, all around me, is the current of His love, Leading onward, leading homeward, to my glorious rest above!
I know His love is underneath all of you. Let Him carry you. We're praying---for healing, strength, and peace.
I'm in Sacramento Thursday, the 23rd, and Saturday, the 25th. If I can bring down anything,or run errands for you, etc., let me know!
Love ya all
Wendy Cerrona
