Surgery #3
Yesterday Mom had to undergo a third surgery. This one was to remove the first drain from her brain and insert a new one in a different location. Since the surgery, Mom has been in a deep sleep again. This afternoon the doctor re-positioned the new drain and made some adjustments to alleviate the pressure in Mom's head. By evening, Mom had awakened just enough to open her eyes a little and squeeze Dad's hand again.

I am praising God that Sandy is awake again. I admit, I was a little concerned when I found she would be going into surgery again. I guess we were being called to pray again and our faithful Father has heard us. Thank you for keeping up this blog, Sarah. It is a lifeline to us as we seek to know how to pray and how our prayers are being answered. God bless you and your dear family.
Love, Sue Bauman
Praise Jehovah Tsidkenu, The Lord our Righteousness, for he is praiseworthy for all he is doing in Sandy's life.
Jeremiah 23:6
"In His days Judah will be saved and Israal will dwell safely; now this is His name by which He will be called: The Lord our righteousness."
We are continuing in prayer dear friends, thanks so much for keeping us posted so we know how to pray.
Love in the Lord,

Palmer Family, Thank you so much Sara for getting us updated on the third surgery. I am so encouraged that Sandy opened her eyes a little so soon after this surgery. I have had her in constant thought since I heard. I should know better than to worry though, God is in charge. I heard something helpful today. Worry is like a rocking chair, you're moving but not going anywhere. Perhaps worry can be like fasting, every time my head starts to fret, I say a prayer. Rest easy Sandy, God is your Comforter, I pray every breath you breathe brings you healing and strength. lotsa prayers, Maris
Sarah,
Thank you for that update. It was too quiet after yesterdays news. "Praise our Lord" who knows Sandy intimately and is with her, holding her. I once heard a commentary on Intimacy with God and to break it down it means; In-to-me-He-sees. That somehow comforts me.
"Peace I leave with you; My peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid." John 14:27
You are in my prayers.
Yvette
