Answered Prayer

These days there isn't as much daily progress or news to report as there used to be when Mom was in the hospital in the earlier stages of her recovery, but I do have an answered prayer to share with you all. In this post I mentioned Mom's prayer that she would be able to hold Thomas, her new grandson, when she met him. Well, my sister Emily is visiting Mom and Dad right now with her new baby, and Mom has been able to hold him often!

It seems that being in a home with Dad and Christopher is working out well for Mom. Her nights are more peaceful now than they were in the hospital where she frequently had panic attacks. Mom is continuing with lots of therapy, and Dad is staying busy designing and implementing (with the help of the guys at Autometrix!) creative new feats of engineering specifically to help Mom in her therapy and recovery. I may be able to post a picture of one of these contraptions soon.

Thanks Sarah to let me follow things. Home is a much better place than a hospital. Thinking a lot about you all. Please tell your mother hi from me.

What an awesome husband you have, Sandy! It sounds like he is creating workable solutions to replace the hospital therapy, and it's always better at home, I think. I'm happy that God answered your prayer, with a "Yes!", to be able to hold your grandson You deserve it. Missing your spirit. Thinking of you often, Maris

tickled that you all get to love your two grandsons for a few moments of complete connection.

home sweet home for the three of you, that is nice!!!

maggie is wonderful and runs to meet bob, pepper and i at the end of the driveway. her foot/leg is barely favored and she is so just falls into us for some good rub downs!!! may she join pepper and us on our daily walks? ( we have a leash) maggie is really good about staying home and not flowing us when we say goodbye and she comes a little ways... as soon as we say, go home maggie- she bows her head and goes just fine!

little kitty is also running out and while being a typical cat does love to jump up on where the tools are for some serious petting and head rubbing!

let me know if we are missing anything or if we can do more... trees in front are blossoming, bulbs are popping up and spring is in the air or at least in the ground and reappearing!!

take care and enjoy jonathan and little thomas and of course emily much too!!

sending you lots of love and daily meditations for continued healing, inner peace and love in the family.

xoxooxo, janie and bob

Those contraptions are AMAZING!

Please post them so others can see them, Sarah. The Autometrix guys aren't just about hardware, these things are works of art. John, you need to add a section to your business plan to go into production for other patients.
