Walking!

Today we have two praises to share!

First of all, the insurance company is going to provide for Mom to stay at the hospital for six more days. She'll be going home next Wednesday, but these six extra days should help a lot.

Second, Mom kinda-sorta walked today! She had one therapist on one side and another one behind her helping. Mom would pick up her right leg and transfer her weight, and then the therapist would help her with the left side. With one hand on a dining table, Mom 'walked' all the way around that table. Dad said that this is the first time Mom has felt hope that maybe someday she will really walk again.

What a day!

"For our heart rejoices in HIM, Because we trust in HIS holy name. Let Thy lovingkindness, O Lord be upon us(the Palmers) According as we have hoped in Thee." Psalm 33:21-22 NAS version
Hope is a good thing....

So glad she can stay just a tiny bit more so other details can be worked out!

Oh, how wonderful! Rejoicing with you!! Two big answers to prayers. Thank you, Lord.

P.S. For what its worth, the house you're looking at on La Barr is not as close to 49 as I thought (I worried I may have scared Sandy a little when I said that) and such a special place. Todd and I have driven by it for years because his mother lives right across the street and admired it. Another special provision from God, I believe.

I am soooo happy to hear that Sandra is continuing to progress in her mobility. Praise God - His mercies are new every morning! We continue to pray that the LORD Almighty gives you all strength (physical, emotional, and spiritual)to flourish in this trial. God bless! Daryl Winslow
